Under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, the TEDx Nishtiman conference was held in Erbil on 5th October 2025, celebrating creativity, innovation, and the power of youth to shape the future. As a strategic partner and sponsor, the Kurdistan Foundationplayed a leading role in supporting this year’s program and empowering young voices on the stage.
Upon the Prime Minister’s arrival, two young representatives from Kurdistan Foundation welcomed His Excellency and posed a heartfelt question on behalf of creative youth across the region, seeking his advice for the next generation of innovators. In response, the Prime Minister delivered an inspiring message: “Love your country and have confidence in yourselves.” He emphasized that patriotism and self-belief are the two essential foundations for success, progress, and lasting innovation, both individually and collectively.
The Kurdistan Foundation proudly celebrated the participation of its four ambassadors, each representing one of the Foundation’s key initiatives: Kani Omed (Volunteer.KRD), Hasti Alaaddin (Empower.KRD), Zagros Mukhtar (Jobs.KRD), and Soran Dilpak (Climate.KRD). These young changemakers who are direct beneficiaries of the KurdistanFoundation’s programs delivered inspiring speeches on volunteerism, empowerment, career development, and environmental sustainability.
Their powerful messages reflected the Kurdistan Foundation’s mission to foster human potential and contribute to the development of Kurdistan’s youth. A particularly moving moment came when the Prime Minister formally recognized Soran Dilpak, the representative of Climate.KRD, for his patriotic contributions to environmental awareness and national service.
Through this partnership with TEDx Nishtiman, the Kurdistan Foundation reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to investing in youth innovation and leadership. By providing opportunities in fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and climate action, the Foundation continues to nurture a new generation of confident, creative, and responsible citizens, ready to build a brighter future for Kurdistan.
