The establishment of the Kurdistan Foundation is deeply personal. Kurdistan itself is not only a home for me; from an early age, its spirit has been part of my upbringing.

I have learned crucial lessons from my father, heavily influenced by the legacy of his family members, each in their own way, dedicated themselves to this land and contributed to shaping Kurdistan. Their resilience, sacrifices, and commitment have instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility. I am eager to uphold their vision forward, in a different form, adapting to an ever-evolving Kurdistan in a globalized world.

Kurdistan Foundation is my way of honouring the lessons and continuing their legacy while embracing the role and responsibility. At Kurdistan Foundation, we are where people belong, where dreams are built and where futures become.

Kurdistan Foundation is not a new initiative, or a new chapter, rather it is a continuation of what our entities have already started working on. It is an umbrella to house all our programs in Kurdistan that empower our people with opportunities to develop skills and capacities, while we address crucial issues such as climate change and sustainability. It provides a hub for entrepreneurs, creators and those with unique talents, empowering our community members to develop, and connect globally while rooted in a deep sense of belonging.
