Mohammed Kakarash

Mohammed Kakarash, born June 25, 1999, in Kirkuk, Mohammed’s life changed when he moved to Erbil for university and experienced dormitory life. Outgoing and driven, he is passionate about activism, entrepreneurship, volunteering, education, leadership, health, and international engagement. Mohammed co-founded Diwaxan, Iraq’s largest podcast, starting from their dorm room and growing it into a trusted platform. The journey, from the first episode recorded in their dorm to the professional studio is fully documented, showcasing their progress and dedication. His work has connected him with organizations like the US Consulate, TIU, IFMSA, TEDx, and HITEX. Balancing university, the podcast, and jobs were a major challenge, but his motivation came from Joe Rogan’s influence. Building Diwaxan remains his proudest achievement and a testament to the power of youth collaboration and creativity.
