Hedar Farsat Sofi

Hedar Farsat Sofi, born February 15, 2015, in Erbil, Hedar’s journey was deeply influenced by his father, Farsat Sofi, the respected Late Erbil Governor known for fairness, integrity, and dedication to serving the community. Inspired by his father’s example, Hedar strives to work hard, be kind, and positively impact those around him. Currently a Grade 5 student at Ishik Ronaki School, one of Hedar’s proudest moments was delivering a speech on Artificial Intelligence at the Kurdish Olympics. The speech went viral on social media, inspiring many young people in Kurdistan to learn about technology’s role in the future. This experience strengthened his passion for sharing ideas and making a difference. For Hedar, being part of Ganjina means joining a community of young leaders who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to Kurdistan’s better future by upholding values of leadership, fairness, and service.
