Hakar Abdulwahid Majeed

Hakar Abdulwahid Majeed, born January 10, 1997, in Duhok, was shaped by early experiences volunteering with the Peshmerga during the ISIS war under his father, a military general. After serving two intense years and losing his father at 20, Hakar took on leading his family while studying political science and international relations at the University of Duhok. Elected Vice President of the Student Union for four years, he honed leadership skills by addressing fellow students' needs. Passionate about diplomacy as a tool to bridge divides and empower youth, Hakar strives to make a positive community impact. He led initiatives including planting over 50 trees and rallying support for a local orphanage. His journey reflects resilience, leadership, and a commitment to serve, guided by the belief that true leadership means standing steady when others look to you.
