Lania Fakhir

Lania Fakhir, born August 10, 2015, in Erbil, is Kurdistan’s youngest and most promising equestrian. Known for her deep bond with her horse, Lania captured widespread attention after a heartfelt viral moment of grief when she lost her companion. Recognizing her passion and potential, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Ruler of Dubai, gifted her a group of horses and established a training center in her honor. Lania is seen as a future representative of Kurdistan on the international equestrian stage.
