Behzad Mohammed Marouf

Behzad Mohammed Marouf, born on August 24, 2003, in Soran, is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, education, community development, and purposeful leadership. At just 22 years old, he is the author of two published books and over ten published articles in newspapers and magazines. He was among the top-ranking students in the Kurdistan Region during his final year of high school (Grade 12) and later joined the Faculty of Law at Soran University, a distinguished five-year program. For the past four consecutive years, he has held the first rank in his department, a testament to his dedication and academic excellence, and he is now in his final year of study. He achieved a rare distinction at the International Mock Trial Competition in the United Arab Emirates, competing among representatives from 14 Arab countries. With nearly four years of volunteer experience in public speaking and organizing seminars aimed at raising youth awareness, Behzad has also earned over ten national and international certificates in languages, computer skills, leadership, and other fields. Today, he serves as the Head of the Law Department at the Bazan Institute Organization, continuing his mission to inspire and guide the next generation toward a more engaged and forward-thinking society.
